| Shes
got an attitude molded by 40 years of hospital nursing. Of English-Irish-Scottish-
Hawaiian-Chinese-Portuguese descent, Ivy lives in Honolulu and speaks
with the inimitable "pidgin" accent of the Hawaiian Islands.
Her long evening
shift ought to be over, but theres still work to do. In an
attempt to get her charting done tonight, she retreats to the quiet
of a utility room and sits on an old broken-down commode.
Its then
that Ivy Push--- too tired to do a stand-up routine--- breaks into
her "sit-down" comedy, giving us a hilarious monologue
on such issues as euthanasia, the doctor-nurse relationship, and
resuscitation of the terminally ill. Now and then Ivy regresses
reluctantly to answer a random patient call light, and lets slip
a piece of whats left of her mind.
Join us for
a live recording of Hob
Osterlunds alter-ego, the lauded and applauded
performance of Ivy Push, RN! And while youre at it, keep visiting
us at for the continuing chronicle of Ivys comedic wisdom.
