She’s got an attitude molded by 40 years of hospital nursing. Of English-Irish-Scottish-
Hawaiian-Chinese-Portuguese descent, Ivy lives in Honolulu and speaks with the inimitable "pidgin" accent of the Hawaiian Islands.

Her long evening shift ought to be over, but there’s still work to do. In an attempt to get her charting done tonight, she retreats to the quiet of a utility room and sits on an old broken-down commode.

It’s then that Ivy Push--- too tired to do a stand-up routine--- breaks into her "sit-down" comedy, giving us a hilarious monologue on such issues as euthanasia, the doctor-nurse relationship, and resuscitation of the terminally ill. Now and then Ivy regresses reluctantly to answer a random patient call light, and lets slip a piece of what’s left of her mind.
